MODERN QUILTING

I have been looking at a lot of quilts lately that are described as "modern quilting". A lot of straight lines and simple designs that really make a beautiful quilt. In my last post I talked about finding a design style, and this is a style that I am becoming very taken with. So without further ado, here are some pictures of a quilt that I finished yesterday for my friend Karen. It's a quilt for her granddaughter, and I really think that the straight line quilting really adds to the simple rail fence design. Enjoy! Rachel

Perfect timing Rachel. I think that's Tears of Joy quilt that I just made. It's oly a lap quilt and will easily fit in my domestic machine. Great minds......you know the rest.
